About the position

At Kollmorgen, you will be a part of our Engineering department consisting of about 60 engineers. SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) is the main process used for product development.

As a Software Engineer, you will be a part of our Stationary Team. The team develops software for our Fleet management system that tells the vehicles where to go, how to get there and what they should do when they arrive. You will solve problems and develop applications for transport flow control, traffic rule management and task allocation. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing features and functions through the phases of idea, requirements, design, implementation, testing, documentation and delivery of software system products;

• Troubleshooting and maintenance of current product portfolio;

• Innovating and testing concepts for future products and services;

• Development of reliable and automated tests enabling the CI/CD pipeline;

• Continuous improvements and active knowledge sharing on software development techniques and agile practices;

• Seeking the potential of fully autonomous software teams in line with Agile principles;

• Collaboration with end users to ensure best possible customer value.

C#, C++, C, Python, Linux, Git, SVN, Jenkins.

To be successful in this role, we believe that you:

• are an experienced developer in C# and knowledgeable in C++;

• have previous working experience within software development and/or the AGV industry;

• are fluent in English, both written and spoken;

• have excellent communication skills and is a great team player;

• are curious and like to share your knowledge as well as learn from others.

It would be a plus if you also have experience working with:

• DevOps tools and concepts like Jenkins, SVN, Git

• CI/CD concepts in practice

• C
