We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about making a difference in the world of AGVs and AMRs.
Position Overview
As a DevOps Engineer, you will be part of our Engineering department, along with other 70+ engineers working within embedded systems, system software as well as Windows applications and web services.
You will be a key player in our System team, a specialized Agile team that assists in building and supporting Agile development environments, including developing and maintaining the continuous delivery pipeline. You will also support the integration of software modules, end-to-end solution testing, DevOps practices, deployment, and release.
The mission of this position is to bridge the gap between development and IT operations, ensuring smooth, efficient, and automated software delivery processes.
What does success look like in this position:
- Efficient CI/CD Pipeline Management: Successfully implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure management and repetitive tasks to ensure smooth software delivery;
- Reliable Infrastructure: Maintain a secure and reliable development infrastructure and tools, ensuring high availability and performance;
- Effective Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and mitigate high-level risks, enhancing security practices across all systems;
- Seamless Collaboration: Foster effective collaboration with development teams to integrate new features and improvements smoothly;
- Leadership in Projects: Lead infrastructure projects effectively, manage cloud services, and standardize tool usage across the CI/CD pipeline for consistency and efficiency;
- Proactive System Monitoring: Implement robust monitoring and logging systems, continuously proposing and implementing standards and improvements for the development environment;
- Stakeholder Engagement: Actively engage with stakeholders outside of the development teams in the release train, addressing and resolving environment issues promptly;
- Unified Product Handling: Ensure unified handling of third-party products and licenses, meeting business needs and maintaining service reliability.
To achieve the mission and success of this position, we believe you already have:
- University degree in engineering;
- 3 years of working experience in a DevOps role or similar position;
- Experience with configuration management and version control systems such as GitLab and SVN;
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, etc.;
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash;
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes;
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as Microsoft Hyper-V and VMware vSphere;
- Work experience in implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines;
- Ability to anticipate, address, and solve problems proactively;
- Strong communication and collaboration skills;
- Commitment to continuous learning and adaptability;
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
We find it beneficial if you have:
- Knowledge of AMR & AGV domain;
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or similar certification;
- Software development experience.
