We are looking for a Software Engineer - Web & Cloud that are passionate about cloud technology and software development!
Position Overview
In this position you will be a part of the Web Tools Team, which consists of Software Developers, a UX Designer, a Product Owner, a Content Writer and a SQA engineer. The team support System Commissioning by developing and maintaining the tool that enables our partners to install and calibrate AGV and AMR systems at their customer sites.
The team uses C# .NET for backend and React with JavaScript and TypeScript for frontend. Work in the UI will be done in React, where the teams use the component library Material UI in combination with an internal component library. The team are using .NET 8, which they strive to continuously upgrade to be able to use the latest technologies.
In your daily work
As a software engineer in the team, an important part is to build up domain knowledge around AGV and AMR systems. It is as much about creating a good system design that streamlines both performance and usability as it is about developing best-practice backend/frontend code or Azure cloud solutions.
A part from this, you will attend daily scrum, and other meetings discussing e.g., priorities, solutions, project structure. From time to time, you will be holding demos for our customers/users where you will get valuable feedback on our products. You will also do code reviews, test the functionality, and check for any alert triggered in Azure.
You will:
- High Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that meets requirements and best practices.
- Comprehensive Documentation: Maintain detailed and up-to-date documentation, facilitating smooth onboarding and knowledge transfer.
- Proactive Bug Fixes: Identify and fix bugs promptly to maintain software reliability and performance.
- Maintenance of existing software: Update and optimize the software to ensure it remains efficient, secure, and compatible with new technologies.
- Effective Cross-Functional Teamwork: Collaborate with product owners, UX designers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet user needs.
- Timely Delivery: Consistently meet deadlines, ensuring that all deliverables are completed on schedule.

Cloud: Microsoft Azure (App Services, Functions, SQL, Storage, SignalR, Communication services)
Test framework: Robot framework, Python

About you

Must have
- Work experience as a web developer.
- Extensive backend development skills in C# (frontend skills is a big plus) and with a genuine interest in learning areas outside your expertise.
- Understanding of databases (such as SQL).
- Extensive experience in Azure cloud solutions.
- Educational background in Computer science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent;
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
