Imagine a room filled with the hum of keyboards, the glow of screens, and the excited chatter of tech enthusiasts. That was the scene at our third Hackathon Afterwork event held at our office a few weeks ago.

In our commitment to fostering an innovative culture, this event is an ideal platform for tech-savvy minds to unleash their true potential – bringing together colleagues, students, and friends for a night dedicated to creativity, collaboration, and coding.

Just like our previous Hackathon events, the mission of the contest was to develop the most effective software solution within a two-hour timeframe. This time, participants were challenged with a classic snake game. The task? Strategically determine the best direction for their snake to collect randomly appearing apples on the board while avoiding collisions with walls or other snakes. Points were earned by surviving the longest and by collecting apples.

Among the standout participants, two names shone brightly as the winners – Oskar Tryggvason and Mårten Sanderöd, both joining the Hackathon for the very first time. We caught up with them to hear their thoughts on the event.
