Milica wrote an algorithm, now patented!
With roots in Montenegro, Milica came to Sweden when she was two years old. After high school, she knew she wanted to continue her studies and packed her bags to begin her journey at Chalmers in Gothenburg. Meet our Software Engineer wizard: Milica Bijelovic.
“My dad was a mechanical engineer, and two of my sisters have a Master of Science in technical physics, while my third sister is a biomedical analyst. It runs in the family, and I decided to study technical math at Chalmers. With time, the math became more theoretical, and I wanted to apply it to something – that’s why I got my Master’s in Complex Adaptive Systems. It was the best decision I’ve made.”
For four years now, we've been fortunate to have Milica on our team. She has a focus on the heavier algorithms in our system, and with increased demand to do things differently, Milica started to do extensive research. After a while she wrote an algorithm, now patented, which focuses on traffic control in tight areas in a system.

Our software system offers plenty of opportunities to learn new things. As we update and modernize, those opportunities become more and more exciting.
“I like to get a complex problem in front of me, which is hard theoretically, where you need to try and find innovative ways to solve it. It’s fun to see what the result is, and especially what it can give. In that sense, I like to come in later in a project to see how we can make it even better. I like being a part of the improvements – especially when it’s hard. When you solve something, it’s such a nice feeling. Nothing beats that.”
